Trick Vinegar and essential oil

  1. Add half a cup of white vinegar to the washing compartment of the washing machine.
  2. Add 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil (like lavender or lemon) to the same compartment.
  3. Wash the towels on a full cycle with hot water.
  4. Dry them in the sun or in the dryer.

Note:  Vinegar helps remove odors and essential oil provides a pleasant scent to your towels.
