vinegar and baking soda

  1. Wash the towels with detergent in the washing machine as usual.
  2. In the rinse cycle, add a half cup of white vinegar.
  3. After rinsing, sprinkle baking soda over the towels.
  4. Rewash the towels in a complete cycle with hot water.
  5. Once they have finished washing, dry them in the sun or in the dryer.

Note : Vinegar helps remove odors and baking soda acts as a natural deodorizer.

hydrogen peroxide and lemon

  1. Fill a large bucket or container with warm water.
  2. Add half a glass of hydrogen peroxide to the bucket.
  3. Squeeze the juice of a lemon and add it to the hydrogen peroxide.
  4. Soak the towels in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Wash the towels as usual in the washing machine.
  6. Dry them in the sun or in the dryer.

Note : Hydrogen peroxide helps kill bacteria and odor, while lemon provides a fresh fragrance.
