  • mild laundry detergent
  • Stain remover (optional)
  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda

Instructions:

  1. Check the care label on your pillows to make sure they are machine washable.
  2. Remove pillowcases and pillow protectors, if any.
  3. Put two pillows in the washer to balance the load.
  4. Add a mild laundry detergent and, if necessary, a stain remover to the washer.
  5. Set the machine to a gentle or delicate cycle with warm water.
  6. During the rinse cycle, add a cup of white vinegar to help remove any residue and freshen your pillows.
  7. After the cycle is complete, run an additional rinse cycle without detergent.
  8. To remove any remaining odors, sprinkle baking soda over your pillows and let them sit for a few hours.
  9. Dry pillows completely in a tumble dryer on low heat or air dry.
  10. Fluff pillows periodically during the drying process to prevent them from clumping.

Note:   Always follow the care instructions provided by the pillow manufacturer. Some pillows may require different methods of laundering or professional cleaning.
