Baking Soda Carpet Cleaner
Ingredients
- 1 cup bicarbonate of soda
- 10-15 drops of essential oil (optional, for fragrance)
Instructions
- Sprinkle the baking soda evenly over the entire rug.
- If desired, add 10-15 drops of your favorite essential oil to the baking soda for a pleasant scent.
- Use a broom or brush to spread the baking soda evenly and work it into the carpet fibers.
- Let the baking soda sit on the carpet for at least 1 hour, or overnight for a more thorough clean.
- Vacuum the rug thoroughly to remove any baking soda and any dirt or debris trapped in the fibers.
- Admire your fresh and clean carpet!
