Method 3: Ammonia and plastic bags

Ingredients :

  • Ammonia
  • Resealable plastic bags (big enough for burners)

Instructions :

  1. Remove the burners from the stove and place them in resealable plastic bags.
  2. Pour a little bit of ammonia into each bag, just enough to cover the burners. It is not necessary to completely fill the bags.
  3. Seal the plastic bags and make sure they are tightly closed to prevent leaks.
  4. Let the burners soak in the bags with ammonia for several hours or overnight.
  5. Remove the burners from the bags and rinse them well under hot water to remove any residual ammonia.
  6. Dry them completely before putting them back on the stove.

Note : Remember to follow the necessary safety precautions when using chemicals and to properly ventilate the area during cleaning.
