Silica Gel Dehumidifying Sachets

Ingredients:

  • Silica gel (available at home supply stores)
  • Breathable fabric (like a stocking or sock)

Instructions:

  1. Fill small sachets of breathable cloth with silica gel.
  2. Close the bags tightly, making sure that the silica gel does not escape.
  3. Place the bags in the most humid areas of your home.
  4. Let the silica gel absorb moisture for several days or weeks.
  5. Replace the sachets when you feel the silica gel has lost its effectiveness.

Note:  Be sure to keep the sachets out of the reach of children and pets, as the silica gel should not be ingested.
